A GUIDE TO GETTING THE BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE

                    STEP 1: Time

                    Picture
Get to the cinema extra early. One hour? Two? Lots of time to kill is the best way to get the best seat.

                    STEP 2: Tickets

                    Picture
Most cinemas don't just sell tickets at the ticket booth. If the queue is long, head over to Consessions or Pick 'n' Mix, you'll save lots of time.

                    STEP 3: Queue

                    Picture
Most cinemas will have special queues for screens which aren't quite ready yet. This is where getting early pays off, you should be at the front of the queue, sometimes you may get turned away and told to come back in a bout 10-15mins. But just to be safe check back every 2-3 minutes. Ocasionally you may have to wait a LONG time in the queue, so bring along an ipod, something to keep you entertained.

                    STEP 4: Don't Be A Pussy...

                    Picture
When the doors open, there's always a rush (unless it's the Spongebob Squarepants Movie), be prepared to push, shove and stamp. Run, you have to RUN! Run to that screen, run to those seats at the back in the middle. Don't forget to deny every accusation against you about trampling.

                    STEP 5: ...Be A D*ck

                    Picture
Even if it's summer and it's hot out, bring a coat or jumper and lay it over the seat(s) next to you, to prevent a stranger sitting next to you. When a person asks you if it's taken, you say yes and say "They said they would be here in a minute". Then, when they sit in the chair next to that one, start crying when the movie begins and say "Stood up again", shrug your shulders and enjoy the movie. Congratulations you've got the best seats there are.
